So heres my thing.

I want to keep the car in a place where mods can be easily undone. Mods that enhance the car, not detract. Simple and clean. So heres my problem.

What would you do?

A 4-2-1 header (or 4-1) on stock exhaust?

Or

Stock manifold with axle-back?

Whats the best combo, OUT of those two.

THe axle back would be the easiest to undo but wouldnt really yield any power. Get a CAI if you want something that you can easily remove

Out of the two you mentioned, I would first purchase a quality header, then upgrade the rest of the exhaust when your budget allows.

axlebacks tend not to do much, so i'd vote not to that. you've got a b16 and it really isnt that big of a displacement.

but a 4-1 w/ carsound cat and a catback with a quiet exhaust would be great.

of those, i vote for header first. then cat.
