Hey everyone, im new to the honda-tech forums, a friend of mine reccomended I start here so here I am. I live in the Nashville, Tn area and im looking to get a honda civic hatch 92- 95 body style preferably. Im looking for something perhaps just a shell, or a car with a body in good condition w/ maybe rims tires and some suspension work already done. The engine tranny ect... can be old and high mileage because I plan on doing a motor swap. Anyways I want this to be a project I can learn from and use for a daily driver/ auto X in the future. Any input/advice or help locating something along these lines would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

I'd recommend that you find a stock car or shell with no mods done to it at all. When you buy someone's car that was modified or someone's project car, you buy their problems as well. You'll never know if they went easy on the car or if they beat the **** out of it. You won't know if the mods they did were done correctly or if short cuts were taken (or even if sub par products were used). Plus you'll learn a lot more by researching and picking the parts that you want for the car, not what the previous owner just slapped on it. Don't rush into any car purchase, something better (and probably cheaper) will always come around. I waited a full year before getting my hatch, and for the price I paid and the condition it is in; it was well worth the wait.

Thanks for your input spoon, ill definitely keep that in mind. So does anyone on this site live in the nashville area that could help me or no?
