Need real info, from actual users... Skunk2 vs. Ingalls camber arms
The way i see things is this: Skunk2 is cheaper and easily had from just about anywhere. But they have had problems with the ball joints. Now i hear they have fixed them, and now also have replacement ball joints available.
with the ingalls they are a bit more expensive, but have OE ball joints, so they are easier to service if need be. New boots and the like.
what does everyone here think?
thanks

I also just found these:
Looks like caster adjustment there on the bottom. Anyone know or use these?

What brand are these??? I don't have any of the above camber kits but am planning to buy in the next week or so. I would also like to know information on these two kits as well as the SPC kits if anyone has info on those.

I have the SPC kit all the way around and love it. I even have the rear performance arms from them. The guy at the suspension shop that put them on said he's never seen a camber kit as well made and as strong as the SPC. Not to mention it saves my tires in the back from rubbing. I have 17" rims and 2.6" lowering.

I have skunk2 and the ball joint came completely out. They sent me the new ball joint replacement and everything is fine. Hate dealing w/ **** like this but they cover their mistakes and that is cool. I wish I would have gotten the spc ones w/ caster adjustment because the teg brake conversion needed a little caster adjustment.

Re: Need real info, from actual users... Skunk2 vs. Ingalls camber arms (Takeoff)
Skunk2 arms on 95 Civic:
Working alright so far, the ball joints have not cashed out yet but the boots are torn. Actually I would describe the boots as weather cracked.
I also removed the original allen bolts and replaced them with hex head bolts which got lock-tightened into place after alignment.
The Skunk2s did contact my strut tower sheetmetal after hitting a decent sized pothole, this was with H&R race springs. Although any a-arm would have done the same, including oem. Raise the ride height or be more cautious of potholes.
When time comes to change the ball joints I'll make new plates to use oem Honda ball joints. Problem solved.

yea, i like the spc arms, but i'm not sure the extra $40 is worth it. (ya im cheap)
also, did yall adjust your camber to where you thought it was about right then take it to get aligned? or did your alignment shop adjust it for you?

sounds like people use skunk2, and people use SPC, but skunk2 has some complains, and spc doesnt.
go with spc, they look pretty.

if its your first one, then ya i would... i've never gone the boost route, but for a first time project i'd go with a kit.
anyways back to camber.... I'm leaning towards the SPC arms... I may be in ATL this weekend so i'll try and stop at NOPI and see what they have.
edit: btw, where is voodoo and all his SPC pushin? lol Hey Ryan, wanna hook me up?

Re: (sil2civic)
after checking out both i decided i didnt like the technology behind the ingalls... i dont like that the whole upper arm moves, in which creating certain possible fitment problems (upper arm hitting wheel well area). I really think the Skunk2 kit uses a better concept, the arm is identical to the OEM honda arm but made with stronger/reinforced steal and looks awefully purrrrdy!! but dont forget to grease the ball joints!

What is the differnece between the old and new skunk2 ball joints? I am trying to figure out if the kit I have in my room is the new or old version. I can post pics if needed...
I had the old version on my Ek and the rubber covers ripped / tore after 6 months

Re: Need real info, from actual users... Skunk2 vs. Ingalls camber arms (Hybrid93Hatch)
I bought mine about 6 months ago...the new ones...I think the differences are that the balljoint is now a high quality (OEM) one and the adjustment screws are hex heads with lock washers. Also someone mentioned that the Skunk2's were modified OEM a-arms...that is also my understanding and one of the main reasons that I bought them. I have some pics of the Skunk2 laying next to the factory arm and they look identical...except with adjustable balljoint and retina burning orange paint. I will try to get one of them up soon.
