Need to pull a switch out....
I'm looking to pull out the switch that controls the angles of the side mirrors and i was just wondering if anyone knew how. do i have to remove the whole dash, or stick a flat in and just jimmy it out.
Its the switch in the picture below.
If you can't tell its a 92-95 civic dash.
I've looked underneath but it looks like the switch is encased in a box of some kind, and the grey piece that shrouds the steering column doesn't looking like it comes off. i just didn't want to rush off and stick a flat in just in case it breaks or anything.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Need to pull a switch out....
There are little metal tabs that hold it on the sides. You may be able to get to it by removing the lower panel and reaching in from behind. This may require a long flat tip screwdriver to press in the locking tab but then the switch will slide right out.
BTW, the gray piece around that surrounds the steering column does come off, however it is screwed in from behind, so you would have to pull the entire dash to get to all the screws. Trust me, I've tried getting to all of them with the dash in the vehicle before, just doesn't work (unless maybe you have tiny hands).
