need p/s help, any feedback at all

My original rack starting slipping, the pinion spun around almost a full revolution, even
had to loosen the ujoint and spin the wheel back around (after it blew out the clock
spring for the airbag).
Now, have a replacement rack in (from a junkyard, but tested), and the power steering whines like crazy. The shop did put universal fluid in, but took it back, and they drained that
out, and put my honda specific fluid in.
any feedback would be appreciated, thanks
