need opinions on which hatch....93si or 98dx?
Going nutty deciding which hatchy to get. I like the moonroof on the 93 but the 97 looks better IMO, plus has 2 airbags. I need something safe, too many madcrazy ***** here. I heard the 93 was more flimsy then the 97. Basically I drive around 100miles per day and need something comfy and safe, fun to drive would be nice too. But definitely need a beater car compared to my current teg. Gets too many dings easily plus I'm always afraid it wont be there when I come back after going into businesses in and out all day all over the county. Give me your opinions yo.

if your looking for that go with the ek. its bigger feels alot safer when ur in it. But i have a eg and its stripped its feels weak but its safe, but for u i think the ek would be good.

definitely the 98. looks a lot better, safer, roomier, more reliable becuase of lower mileage (usually).

93 Si Plus think of it this way: You can be cruizing down the highway going 100mph + w/ your girl sticking her head out the moonroof tryin to catch bugs.

i'm going from an ek to an eg.. the ek was too comfy and newskool feeling for me.. i'm all about light cars and performance tho, so thats why i am switching. but i think for your situation, the ek would be a better choice for you.... both cars rule

'93 Si
I'm getting to a point were I want luxury in my Civic. Power features, moonroof, a simple Spoon CF lip, hood, and roof wing.....maybe some mirrors. Plus some nice Sparco interior.
As for your safety, get a roll cage. I'm putting in a 6 point roll cage, seats, and harnesses in first, then my suspension and brakes get worked on. I can't wait for my next project EH. I'm starting to lose the need for high HP and just want my Civic to be reliable with comfort ans style.

Ek
I have power windows/mirrors/cruise/locks in my EK. Just do the Si conversion!! Sure, it's heavier but I, like yourself, drive it every day and am looking for comfort over all out gutted performance. I DO have CRX seats in it though, which lower your center of gravity and grip ya like a ****. They are grey to match my interior. EK

The EH3
I'm biased of course, never have liked the "bug eyed" look of the '96-'00. If you are concerned about dual airbags get a '94-'95 Si. Unless the '93 is your only choice.

If it where up to me i would force u to by an eg I LOVE MINE...would never trade it for an ek. But from what i see u want the ek fits u perfect. And teh 99-00 si conversions looks tight on that car. Eg Rocks....but from what i see u want an Ek.

I love em both...I'd be torn as well...
but on a side note, the si is easier to tune outta the box, and it comes w/ a sunroof and power windows

How come my 93 Si dont have power windows?? i thought P/W only came in the EX models to save weight for the sportier Si. correct me if im wrong... any 93 Si owners out there have P/W??
