need opinion about trading cars...
So, I've currently got a '93 Si hatch with a JDM B18C (GSR) swap, but with an LS trans. The car has rebuild status, which I thought wouldn't bother me, but it does. It's been painted NSX Imola orange, and has a bunch of other parts on it as well (Apexi N1 coilovers, strut tower bars, real Mugen RNR wheels, etc..). Basically, I bought the car built already, which also is something that I thought wouldn't bother me, but it does. I think I would much rather build my car my way.
My friend has a '93 Si hatch as well, stock black paint. Actually, the car is pretty much all stock. It has never been in an accident, but it does have about 270,000kms. My car has 170,000kms on the chassis. Anyways, we got to talking last night and are now thinking about trading cars. I paid $7500 for mine, but he's offering to trade cars plus give me $750. Also part of the deal is I get to keep my Mugen wheels, carbon fiber hatch and hood, and basically anything else except the coilovers and powertrain parts.
So, if you're not totally confused after reading that, what do y'all think? Should I do it?
