need o2 sensor best place?
i need to find an oem o2 sensor for my 2000 dx d16y7 with a y8 head
is there any cheaper options then from the dealer? they are like over 200$$
im not sure what brand the oem ones are but i see people using eather ntk ngk or denso
i know the secondary y8 sensor works on my y7 harness as well as the y7 sensors just not the primary y8 plug because its reversed for some reason

Honda likes money.... I only go to the dealership for things i cant get anywhere else. Like certain gaskets, Honda MTF, Shin etsu grease. Other wise i go to Advanced auto or Rock Auto.
I just got my O2 from rock auto and i only payed like $30. Denso brand but its for an OBD-1 motor.

Re: need o2 sensor best place?
Its a 4 wire o2 Sensor. Though since my vehicle is OBD-1 i only have one O2 sensor. My upstream which is what i replaced.
OBD-2 cars have an upstream (Exhaust manifold) and a downstream (CAT). Ive heard they make something that you put in your secondary o2 sensor bung which gives the computer false readings. It thinks it has a true o2 but it doesn't. People use it to fool the computer when doing an OBD conversion or hollowing there cat. So they dont throw codes.
