it's amazing you're still 100%

the d15b will bolt right up to your tranny and everything but you need to reuse your stock mounts, you will also need to wire in your VTEC Solenoid, VTEC Pressure Switch, and Knock Sensor...to make things easier you could probably just get an ECU from a 96-97 Civic EX instead of converting your car to OBD1 which is probably the ECU the d15b will come with.

Just get a virgin p28 this will work or a virgin p08 ecu if you can find one.

(virgin just means that it hasn't been chipped or anything)

edit: You will still have to wire in vtec solenoid, vtec pressure switch, and knock sensor but that's not too difficult.

do you seriously think i care about a percentage?
i don't even know what thats supposed to mean.

theres a giant faq at the top of the page for swaps, seriously, if you keep answering these questions people won't ever stop asking them.

Very true. I'm getting tired of answering them myself, but yes there is a giant FAQ at the top. Check that out guys.

final answer no its not a straight bolt in deal. you also have to go from a three to two wire iacv, ecu wiring conversion if you use an obd1 ecu(which would be the smart thing to do imo) and injector clip rewire(or swap injectors even though the y7's come with smaller 190s) and modify a few other things. and since you cant even spell car correctly, i dont think you should do the work yourself anyways.

I've seen a couple of Honda-Techs swap a D15B into a '96 EX coupe (previous owner had blown the motor, 5th to 2nd) and they later bought another Y8 instead because wiring the D15B was just a pain in the ***.

Y8s are cheap anyway. Upgrade to a Y8 instead.

its not OBD compatible especially if you live in California. And smogging it might be an issue. Do it right and get a y8.

BTW, dont forget muffler bearings.
