Need Muffler Help.
 

I need some help, because I seem to be confused...
I'm trying to get this custom 2.25 in piping catback for my civic ex 00, but I'm not sure what to put on as a muffler. I'm looking for something with good power, but not very loud. Can anyone tell me what I can put on a custum catback and get these qualities? I've done a lot of searches, but I'm still not sure on what I need. Names and prices would be very good. Thanks.

Get a header, high flow cat and this:

It's very quiet.

If you want to go the custom route, then you can get a long Magnaflow resonator and chambered muffler for a quiet system. If you can stand it to be a little louder (and better flowing) than go with a straight thru muffler. Those made by Magnaflow, ES, Dynomax, Borla all flow very well and sound good.

I just put a Dynomax Ultraflow Welded muffler on my custom catback. It's very quiet cruising (e.g. highway speeds) but has a nice growl under accelertaion and none of that "bumblebee" sound. Highly recommended. I've bought two of them from http://www.a-1performance.com and had great luck.
