You NEED to do more research turbo is better bang for you'r buck than a supercharger. A b16 is TQ'less and will dissapoint you go for the B18(Vtec). Or a K swap best tranny ? the JDM S80 w/LSD out of the ITR.

I have a budget of 15,000 for the motor tranny and body mods but Im not really worried about the body mods right this moment, they can wait if need be. I don't particularly care for turbos because of the lag. If there was a way to keep from turbo lag I'm all ears.

For fifteen grand, you can build a B16 or B18 to withstand 1000+bhp. Get a B18 block, get AEBS sleeves, have it bored and stroked, get high quality pistons and rods. Get an LS or GS-R head, get it fully worked with a high quality valve train. Get a turbo properly sized for your bore/stroke, and you'll easily have a reliable 600+bhp car with money left over for an LSD transmission and a dual surface clutch.
Turbo lag isn't entirely a bad thing, especially on a small, light car like the Civic/Del Sol. The combination of light weight and F/F means traction is a serious problem, and if your torque band is immediate (as it would be with a blower), you'll be spinning everywhere. Regardless, a properly sized turbo will make power right where you need it, and once you properly learn how to drive a turbo'ed car, you'll realize why it's a clearly superior option for a Honda.

Everything you need to know about blowing 15k into a Civic is in some car magazine somewhere...
I'm sure there is a list of go fast mods/parts you could lose that money on...
Your crazy man...
You could get a fine G35 or Subaru for that kind of cash... And have to do basically nothing to it...
That's just my opinion, which is a bit biased...
Good luck to you.

Re: Need more power! Help me!
I got 10k in my hatch and it would eat my old g35 alive which happened to be one of the fastest vq's in my area! I only had 30k in my g. Granted I miss the comfort and performance of it.
