my brother in law has a 97 coupe and did auto to manual tranny swap in it then used 99-00 y8 auto intake manifold on it now we get random misfire cylinder 4.code 74.weve been through everything and the thing is the injector is getting power but dont know if its pulsing in synch.anyone able to shed light on the situation

Any CEL codes beside 74?

If you remove the fuel rail with the injectors, do all injectors pulse fuel when the engine is cranking?

Do all four spark plugs have bright white spark? How old are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor?

all the ignition componets are good.the only injector that isint pulsing is the fourth

Does the injector 4 plug have battery voltage? Have you tested the injector 4 ground wire for an open or short?

It does have voltage idk too much....at all how to test electrical components

How many volts does it have? Do you have a multimeter? Testing the ground wire for a short or open is also pretty simple.
