Need a little help with ABS problem
Right my abs pump is non-functional as it is leaking, i have got hold of a second hand pump. Just wondering if it is a straight forward swap. As i have been told by someone that it needs to be hooked up to a computer to bleed the system. Can anyone verify this for me pls.
The car is civic EG6 vti
and this is the offending pump...
sorry about the size.
Cheers for any help.

Swaping the ABS modulator is very straight forward. 1st relieve pressure in the existing modulator then disconnect the brake lines and mounting nuts holding it in and, Bam it's out. Install in the reverse order. Once it's installed you will need to bleed it. Use a jumper wire and jump the relay so that the accumulator builds pressure then crack open the bleeder. Do this until you get no more air in the system.
Hope this helps.
