About to adjust the Valves on my buddies B16a2. What are the proper Adjustments if they're too loose or tight?

Under my hood 2000 Si and in the Honda manual says.
.17 In. +\- .002 mm
.19 Ex. +\- .002 mm

If you pick up your hood and look at the picture of your catalyst system, it will tell you the measurements. No bullshit. When I adjust valves at work thats what we all go by. Learned that at Honda school, I'm not saying ooohhhh I went to Honda school and I'm right, **** I may be wrong, cuz. But's that what we use as a reference at the shop. Good luck man.
