Default Need Instructions/Tips for DIY Grille Removal

just wanted to know if anyone knows how to remove the factory upper grill and lower grill on a 00 Civic EX. Please include step by step directions...

you have to take off the bumper and you'll see the screws and just loosen them

For the bottom grille, you dont have to take off the bumper, but its easier then being on your knees while cutting out the grille/s . The Top one, you just need to take out the clips that keep it placed into your bumper, and then you wills ee the screws. Not hard at all. Replace the top with mesh

You obviously haven't taken off the bumper yet. On my 97 it only has 2 bolts, 2 screws and about 6 pop nuts on top then it slides right off. Easy! Takes about 15 minutes and that's if you don't know what your doing.

I'm down to the 2 screws and the pop things on the top. I don't even bother with the nuts anymore. It takes near no time at all. Just unscrew the two screws out of the bumper that hold the grille on and there ya go.
