Technically there should never be freon in his a/c system.

Nice site kkim, thnx.
that covers the recharge.

Is the condensor that easy to replace though?
Why is the dealer charging over 500 bux for a new condesor and recharge?

well i work at a dealership, its $75 hour. they charge so much b/c if a certified tech installs it it comes with a warranty. there is a book with all the labor times in it. so there it labor to replace the condensor and then also to evac and racharge the ac system. they are supose to follow a certain procedure in order to replace it like get all the stuff outta the ac lines and them take it off, the put back on, and evac and recharge. hope this helps!
