'93 Honda Civic EX 1.6L. I'm trying to replace a, presumably, bad temperature sensor; my radiator fan isn't turning on. I've found at least two sensors; one is on the top left of the block; the other lower left. When I unplug the top left one a engine? idiot light comes on on the dashboard, and the engine slows down its idle. When I unplug the bottom left one nothing happens. Neither affects the temperature gauge. Also, unscrewing the top one does leak radiator fluid; haven't unscrewed the bottom one.
Please help me identify which one(s) might be bad, and how I should proceed. Thanks.
