Need help on why turbo eg hatch stalls
Hey guys i have a turbo eg hatchback and it has some issues. The one i can't seem to figure out is when i'm driving and coming to a stop sign or stop light and put the clutch in (disengage) the car dies immediately. It seems to do it only when the motor is warmed up. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong?

Also, idle can also be turned down too low, make sure you're idling at 800 RPM or so.

Re: Need help on why turbo eg hatch stalls
I am in the same boat. Turbo z6, cleaned iac, cleaned fitv. When I had the car tuned, the car had an idle problem (idling at 1500-2000). Turned out the fitv was completely unscrewed in the housing. At the dyno, we set idle to 700, and now that its fixed, it will sometimes hold idle, and sometimes will drop low enough to die. I'm going to try and unscrew the fitv a little more and see what happens.

Re: Need help on why turbo eg hatch stalls
bumping this old thread because im having the same problems >.< it started happening after we put in new plugs and a new dizzy. we ended up adjusting the idle to a little high (1,000), and put a new spring on the top of the throttle cable and it seemed to cure it for a couple days.
today it started happening again but only once its warmed up. at start it purrs perfect at 1k, once it warms up it starts dancing around from 200-600 and once i was driving for about 10 mins everytime I put the clutch in to stop it stalls.
it starts right back up, but its a pain in the *** and not working as intended...
