a company called tsudo makes a generic apexi n1 catback and generic headers and other stuff and sells on ebay, what the deal with them? they claim that their exhaust is mandrel bent stainless steel, so why are they selling there stuff for so cheap? i am particularly looking at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW for my 99 civic si, what will this exhaust sound like? will it sound anything like a actual apexi n1 catback? I am also looking at their header, they are marketing what looks like pretty good header for 129 bucks, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33631
but what gets me is how they are selling it for that cheap of a price, there has to be something that not as good about there products is what I am thinking, does anyone know more about them?? also what is the difference between their products and the actual name brand products??

ONe of my friends bought a tsudo exhaust off ebay for like 2xx bucks shipped. I put it on but it was alittle long so we had to cut and weld but other then that, it sounds nice and deep. not a lawn mover blower..

2 of my friends have em on their 7th gen civics. first friend got it a few months ago. now it sounds a little raspy, but still deep and thick. not as good as it used to. my other friend just put his on, and its got no raspyness, sounds deep and thick.

so over time, it just got raspy.

Assuming a apexi n1 is a 7 out of 10 for loudness and a greddy evo is a 3-4 out of 10, HOW LOUD IS THE TSUDO N1 catback??

I have a Tsudo exhaust. It has become progressively raspy and buzzy. It sounds like total ****.

probably a 5-6. at idle its not that loud, at WOT it gets loud. and as castor said, it'll progressively get raspy and sound like ****..my opinion, save like $200 more and get the apexi ws

right now I have a exhaust leak and my car sounds and runs like ****. i really want the apexi n1 catback but the cheapest I have found that is $400 not including shipping and can not afford that. how would my car sound if i just have the local exhuast shop bend me 2.5 in. piping from the cat back and just get a 2.5 in. universal tip welded on??? if that will be to loud, how about that setup with a resonator??

if anyone has any other ideas for rigging something up for relatively cheap that will sound decent please let me know. i realize the press bent piping is not as good as the mandrel bent, but on a stock SI the hp difference between the two has to be something like 2 hp at most.... Another thing i was also thinking about was just buying the apexi N1 muffler and getting the 2.5 in press bent piping made and running a resonator with that (pretty much what the apexi n1 actaully has but with mandrel bent piping instead of press bent) how would that sound??
