Need help with vacuum gauge install
i recently acquired an autometer vacuum gauge, but it was missing the T-fitting that needs to be used to T into a vacuum source. i went to the autometer site and they don't offer that piece and was just wondering where i could find it. i'm not sure what size the fittings are so maybe who's done this install before can tell me the size i would need.

I clipped that fitting off and slipped the white plastic tube into a vaccum hose about two inches, then used a zip tie to secure. Then slip the vaccum hose onto a barbed black plastic hose "T" and install in-between your fuel pressure regulator and the Intake Manifold. Hope this helps....

Did the exact same I bought my boost gauges used so it didnt come with that T fitting. If i remember in the morning (not 4am like it is now) ill take some pics for you. But just stick it directly into the vaccum line itself and zip tie the **** out of it so it wont move.

Re: Need help with vacuum gauge install (sleepingEg8)
i was thinking about doing it this way too, but i was afraid it may cause a vacuum leak.
