If your car is stock then dont even bother wasting your money on a VTEC controller, it wont help you at all.

Ditch the VRaK controller and go with a P28 Tuned on Crome. You'll like it much better I garuntee you.

x2 i got a VAFC for free and i just wired it up (using APEXi's directions online) just for digital RPM and what not, more for looks and data logging than function.

Lol, plug it in for bling. Don't adjust it, unless you WANT to ruin your motor.

But if you want to, by all means, go for it. The apexi help-line will gladly send you some instructions for the shipping price.

"I object!"

Last time I checked, this was a public Forum, not a state/federal courtroom. We're entitled to give our opinions. Especially if it's wrapped around help. I told him where to get instructions, and also i hope I gave him some good advice.

were you talking about this?

I was only stating article 153.9 "Vtec Controllers will be condensed into a single pile, and discarded into Exibit A, The large trash can"

Why would you want to adjust vtec anyway? maybe he doesnt know honda set the engagment point at a specific point, and at a specific throttle level, along with decent oil pressure and level. Why mess with that? for a more ricy adventure? were helping him clearly.

Because maybe on a stock engine the vtec crossover point would be just fine but did he post his setup? No. Maybe he has cams, maybe hes turbocharged, maybe he runs a big shot of nitrous. Use your head, and keep the drama down with all your bullshit comments that arent needed

If he's asking how to install a VAFC I doubt he has some monster build.

(which is really the only thing that would justify moving the vtec engagement point.)
