Need Help: Upper Control Arm Anchor
I'm installing a new upper control arm (UCA) on my 97 del Sol. Anyone who has ever done it knows that the UCA bolts to an anchor with pivot points. This anchor bolts to the fender with the bolts accessed at the engine compartment. You have to remove the anchor in order to remove the pivot bolts.
Now, while removing the anchors was easy, getting them back in is proving difficult. The anchor studs are not lining up with the holes in the fender; they both point outwards, away from their respective holes. It seems that the studs have to be squeezed togeather in order to get them to line up. Has anyone encountered this? If so, what's the best way to get these things to fit?
