Ok Ive been searching for about 1-2 months now and havent found anything.
so i've decided to post and hopfully i wont have to buy a new throttle body.
Ok I have a JDM d15b Vtec and well i have a vac leak. and when i do the CEL test i get the code 3 Wich is, (3 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor) and 14 wich is,(14 IAC (EACV) - idle air control valve) Ive replace the IACV with a Junkyard one but no luck there. Im going to Clean it and see if that helps.

Well i need help with this problem, the vac leak, i know where it comes from

The little nipple that looks clean.

but the problem is i can find were it gose to.
in the Haynes book that hose gose fron in between the Map sensor and the right Screw. and mines dose not have it.

Please help me out with this. and i think if i fix these problems the jumping idle will go away! well thanks any ways.

if your throttle body is leaking and creates the vacume leak. u will hear a high pitch whitsle sound and simply tighten the nuts/bolts on the throttle body or get a new throttle body gasket

No my throttle body isnt leaking.The nipple in the first pic is supose to be connected to a nipple on the throttle bbody or intake manifold but i can find the other nipple

if it's a vac leak then try this. it helped me out. i had a gasket leak on my TB and my idle was jumping like nuts

-buy some CARBURATOR CLEANER SPRAY...
-spray it around ur engine..
-if you find a spot where u sprayed that idle goes back to normal then that is the source of your leak.

if ur idle is ok then. nvm this

That dipple goes to the evap purge solenoid. Where the purge solenoid is is the mystery. Might be on the back of the IM. Found it, it is on the back of the IM right by the hose that goes to the brake booster.

Your map sensor is mounted to the top of the manifold. In the pic it is the one with the hole with the three tabs in it. So your map is seperate, just not plugged in. EDIT: I just noticed in the last pic you have it plugged in.

And make sure you are plugging in the connectors correctly. the map and IACV look almost identical.

Ok Cool ill try this first thing tomorrow morning. and ill let you know.

i think the IACV sensor is plug in to the IACV becasue its not long enough to reach the MAP sensor.

nutill switch it around and see.

Ok well i looked for the Dipple behined and couldnt find anything. any one have a pic of there IM thats the same as mine or can any one tell me what kind it is?

just go down to the parts store, get a plastic t, 1/8th in. and then hook up the nipple to the one left over from the t. See if that works. Cheap fix, and then you'll get vacuum to it.

look go to a junk yard you will see that that nipple has a hose that goes to a sensor but your sensor is missing you would need to get the sensor and hose from junkyard... best place to get it i had to. jus go in and put it in your tool box or bag and say u didnt find what you were lookin for and the sensor goes on the back of you throttle body i can barely see the place on the second pic where it goes but its there you should see a hole lookin from the top of the IM with threads the sensor goes in there and you then you should be good. im possitive on what im sayin

Older post I know, but for future reference, the JDM D15B VTEC (like many, if not all JDM engines) does not have a EVAP purge control solenoid... So take a hose and plug that nipple with a bolt... Thats what I did anyways, worked like a charm...
