i have a 93 civic coupe with a d15b7 ive decided to do the mini me swap with a y8 head and since i have to get a new ecu i want to use the p28 which means i have to go from auto tranny to 5spd. can anyone help with what all i will need to do this and how to go about it?

linkage,ecu,pedals,tranny,clutch, slave cylinder and master cylinder with resevoir. you will need to do some fabricating and wiring as well

you will also need the steel line that runs from your slave cylinder to your tranny and you need a five speed brake pedal i did this on my 94 hatch and that steel line is a pain. you will also need to run a wire from the back up switch on the tranny to the tail lights i have heard of doing this a different way but idk.

you can just wire the reverse wires to the old wiring where the auto shifter was... thiers many write ups... search!

Just as a note, just because you change the ecu does not mean you have to go 5 speed.

cutting the hole out out for the new shifter to come through the floor board . your gonna need a piece of sheet metal. wiring your gonna have to wire the lock up switch and reverse lights. its all easy to do as i said before google it or use the search its been covered over a thousand times

i used my stock mounts and it worked perfectly.. no need for that mount... some say u need the tranny bracket but the auto one worked fine for me

from what i read, you dont NEED to go 5spd if your swapping to a p28, there are auto p28 ecus

although i would advise you swap to manual for the benefit, its not a necessity if you jsut want to do a mini-me swap

You need the mount on a '92 - '95 Civic/'94 - '01 Integra. If you got it to work your engine is sitting crooked and you will have major axle issues.
