Yes. I have an EX cluster in my CX, and I don't have the green plug that goes in that spot. My gauge cluster works just fine. Take the plugs out of your ctr cluster, and replug them in. Make sure they click.

Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead.
If i were to get a ctr cluster on my 2000 civic, would it read speed correctly in km/h w/o modification?
wahts the ratio of mph to km/h?

Not exactly but pretty close. Easiest way is to remember that 50kmph is 30mph and 100kmph is 60mph. Other than that, just guess. Cops aren't that bastardly.

Actually, that's still wrong.
30mph = 48.28Kmph
60mph = 96.56Kmph
That's why x .6 doesn't work out.

Eh, it all works out legally in the end, just mathematically, it never works out. I was just pointing out that the .6 measurement doesn't work out for any of those numbers, it's just "close" enough. I merely mentioned the 60=100 and 30=50 for sake of not having to do a math problem every time you look in that gap in your steering wheel
