Need help putting A/C Into 94 Eg with ITR Motor
Since my Eg is a 94 i know i need to do r134a. I have the lines off of a 92-93 which still used r12. I have a type r and im trying to do research into what compressor, what lines, what a/c fan basically everything i need to put in to a 94 eg with a type r. Has anyone see a post for this or done it them selves? Please anything will help.

you can continue to use the hard lines. if you have the r12 system already in your car, just have it purged at a shop, tested for leaks then refilled w/r134. the only thing you would have to change is the pressure hoses.
if the hardlines are the only thing you have, you can get all the other components off of a 94-95 civic. since it is already r134, it won't have to be purged, but i would still have it tested for leaks.
as for the mount, you will need the 38930-P7J-000 (crv) compressor mount to be able to use the d-series compressor. it is alot easier to just use this compressor because the lines fit the way they are supposed too, and the compressor is alot easier to find than the b-series one, new or used.
it is a stright foward assembly, something you can do yourself. pick up a repair manual if you need some help. good luck.

they are exactly the same, but the P7J is listed at a lower price. i believe a $40-50 difference.

did your car come with a/c stock. if not you are gonna need to change the blower under the dash so it has the a/c lines coming out the fire wall

my car came with ac. I have the r12 lines, but i think i can get the r134a for cheeper then having them purged at a shop .I have a b- series compressor i think it came off my b16 that i had in a DA, how can i tell what compressors with B-Series will work? Or what B-series compressors are r134?what year crv would i get the compressor mount off of?

they are exactly the same. the part number is the same as well. P30 is to identify that they were used on a del sol, and the P7J is to identify that it came from a crv.
i am speaking through experience, something you are lacking in this topic.

you can use the crv bracket from 97-01. honda only used 2 types of compressors on the b-series motor. the first is a smaller one, which is identical and found on the d-series motors (only used on 94-95 b16a3 delsol and 97-01 b20 crv). the second is alot larger and quite noticable. this compressor was used on 94-01 integra, 99-00 civic si, 96-97 delsol.
as for the lines, you will need to use your current civic lines for the a/c to work.
bseries do not bolt up right on the civic chassis. as for compressors, if used and it's from a r12 system, it will hsve to be purged before you can use the r134 freon.

the del sol bracket actually does not have a p30 stamp on it, it is p54. And sorry but I do have plenty of experince with this. The crv bracket will work just as the del slow one will, I was simply giving him options. They are NOT identical though.

you are absolutely right, i should know bwttwer, because i do know this. the p30 is what is on the 96-97 delsol and 00 civic si.
the p54 and the p7j is the 2 that are identical.

I used autozones valucraft brand belt part #315K4, but I think you can use any 4 rib 80cm belt
*this is all info based on a B16a with a 92si compressor and P7J bracket in a 92si*

you will use the one for a civic sohc compressor. everything will be off of a civic, the bracket info is not needed for replacement parts.
