need help probs with reading ecu code.
i did a obd0-obd1 conversion on my hatch and i dont really know anything about reading codes from a p28. the car cranks over but dosnt start i havnt checked for spark but im getting a code of one short blink followed by 4 regular blinks so whatever code that is it beats the heck out of me.
also is there a resistor box at all on an obd1 car? the directions i got with my conversion harness said that i didnt need one but i need to know what to do with the wires going out of the injector's i know the red/black wires (obd0 car)(yellow/black on obd1 car) go to the 7wire harness but what about the other wires comming from the injector's? do they just go like they already do stock (89 civic)
i guess my question is what wires are needed going into that 7wire capped plug? and what is done with the other injector wires for each wire?
sorry if thats confusing

Re: need help probs with reading ecu code. (spun Vtec)
Is there a bit of a pause between the 1 long and 4 short or is it one right after the other?
1 long=10
1 short= 1
If it's 1 long then 4 short right after then its one code
so 1 long and 4 short would=14 which is: IAC Valve (Idle Air Control) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
1 long=10
1 short= 1

Re: need help probs with reading ecu code. (CIVICVTI2)
If it's 1 long then a pause then 4 short then it would be 2 different codes.
it would be code 10: IAT Sensor (Intake Air Temperature) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
and code 4 CKP Sensor (Crankshaft Position Sensor) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
Kinda confused on the rest but maybe someone else can help.

my bad it is 4 then a short one then a pause then same thing
could be o2 but you would think that would come on after the car was running not cranking over
