NEED HELP PLEASE!
I know to someof ya this is gonna sound stupid, but Please just tell me if this works. I Have a 00 Si with a JDM B18C R and i am taking that swap and putting it in my hatch, now i just cant leave my Si without a motor, so i want to get it a cheap 96-00 Civic single overhead vtec engine. Should wiring be a problem? and what about the motor mounts.

Re: NEED HELP PLEASE! (B18CR Hatch)
you will need d series mounts if you plan on doing this, i dont know your situation but wouldnt you need the mounts from the R motor for the hatch....so you would need d series mounts neways.there should not be any wiring problems, as long as you get a obd2 motor.

Re: NEED HELP PLEASE! (smithenhiven)
ok the thing is, the hacth has the stock 92 cx motor. I previously sold the b16a2 motor and tranny i had in my Si.... still have the ECU though. I have the jdm type r swap ready to put in my hatch. I have HASport Motor mounts for that swap. Now i need to buy another CHEAP engine for my Si... it doesnt really matter if its fast or not, im gonna use it for daily driver. need to know whats the easiest and cheapest swap that would work good on the Si?

Well if I were you, I'd throw a B20Z into the Si. You said you have new mounts for the Type R swap into the hatch, so the stock mounts from the Si will take the B20.
