Need help passing emissions! 93' Civic Sedan DX help.
As the title states I drive a 93' Sedan Dx civic. Having some troubles getting it to pass emissions and could use a bit of help.
First test:
High Speed Test:
HC(ppm) CO% Co2 % RPM
Standard: 220 1.20 9.6 2442
Reading: 449 2.22
Deviation: -229 -1.02
Result: Fail Fail
Idle Test
HC(ppm) CO% Co2 % RPM
Standard: 220 1.20 801 1027
Reading: 387 0.94
Deviation: -167 0.26
Result: Fail Pass
Test Number Two after listed parts purchased:
Rotor and cap
Spark plugs & wires
Fuel Filter
Air Filter
Oil change and if I'm missing anything probably other small things.
High Speed Test:
HC(ppm) CO% Co2 % RPM
Standard: 220 1.20 9.9 2369
Reading: 439 0.73
Deviation: -219 0.47
Result: Fail Pass
Idle Test:
HC(ppm) CO% Co2 % RPM
Standard: 220 1.20 8.1 1027
Reading: 454 0.77
Deviation: -234 0.43
Result: Fail Pass
So I've passed one more stage after the parts I purchased and fixed my idle from eradicating up and down.
I just bought a new o2 sensor, which is most likely needed with the car being at 208k miles.
Will this o2 sensor do the trick? I bought the one before the catalyc converter and I should most likely purchase the one after it as well. Any help on parts that may be necessary or help would be appreciated, any help would be appreciated. If needed any further information just ask.
Thank you.

well usually with an emissions problem there is a CEL. does the CEL come on during bulb test (when you first turn the key on). if not it may be burnt out and you could have a code. with your specs your defiantly running rich (too much fuel), but that doesnt mean the O2 is to blame. it could be, but it could be other problems too. and no one wants to spend money on parts they dont need. also your car is a 93, which is OBD1, you dont have an O2 after the cat. your car didnt come with one and you dont need one. there is a good chance that if your car has been running rich for a while it could have damaged the cat also. check that your CEL works and go from there.

By CEL you mean Check Engine Light correct?
If so, right when I turn the key on it is on for a second, then goes away.
And could a exhaust leak be part of the problem as well? It's leaking right before it enters the muffler a little bit.
And possibly look into buying a cat?

yea CEL means check engine light. id say if you already have the new O2 go ahead and install it. an exhaust leak after the cat will not cause an emissions problem. a leak before the O2 could cause it though. replace the O2 and check for a leak before it.

Sorry about the jumbled graph, didn't know it'd post like that.
But anyways, I realize how ghetto this may or may not be, but it's all I got right now cause my scanner is down. So I took some phone pics to hopefully help the picture. Let me know if any further information is needed, thanks.
