Need help. OBD2 LS in EG with OBD1 LS harness
I just dropped a OBD2 LS into my civic hatch, before this I had an OBD1 LS and was using an 0bd1 LS harness, and thought I could use the same wireing harness for the new LS.
We hooked everthing up, engine starts fine but idles between 900 and 1100 RPM and stalls if given gas. It's throwing codes for the intake air temp sensor, water temp sensor and ignition output signal.
Any ideas?

Re: Need help. OBD2 LS in EG with OBD1 LS harness (Hybird EG Hatch)
the harness should work. if not you can use the obd2 harness it will hook up too.
did you reuse your obd1 alternator? i know obd1 alternator plug doesnt hook up to obd2 alternator. same thing with the distributor. did you reused the obd1 distributor? if you had to rewire the alternator or distributor that may be your problem, make sure theyre rewired correctly. finally recheck all the sensors see if theyre all plugged in and tight.

Actually, I don't have the OBD2 harness, but yeah, we reused the OBD1 Alternator, Distributor, and Starter.
I've talked to some friends and it's looking like it's going to be a problem with the intake manifold. I'm going to try swapping the OBD1 mani on to it, and see how that helps.
