Need help with my projector headlights
Sup all
I have projectors headlight in my 92 civic but the light went out so i went to my local autoparts place and accidently bought 100 watt bulbs (h3). I think the stock bulbs are 55 watt. Anyways, couple weeks later, the passenger side headlight went out so i replaced the bulb but it still doesnt work. Is my headlight wiring fried from using higher wattage bulb? anyone know how to fix this problem? thanks

Re: Need help with my projector headlights (civicnightracer)
I'm running a 55w and seventy something watt bulb in my projectors, haven't had a problem. I doubt the wiring is fried unless you visably can see something is wrong Usually the fuse will go out first. Were your sure the bulb wasn't fried already? Try buying a stock style h3 bulb for like 12 bucks at Walmart or somewhere. See if it works. Make sure they are cleaned up good before you put them in also, I wipe it down with a lint free cloth and alcohol.
Good luck
