The shoulder straps?? These should be mounted to an installed roll bar or cage to be safely used in your car. Many have there own opinions on using harnesses in non-roll bar equipped cars. It really isn't a safe situation.
Otherwise I'm sure there are some DelSol owners that may have some suggestions if you want to still install them.

Take it to a shop and have them find a secure spot for you.
Mine will be connected to my roll bar which is welded in....goodluck.
