Need help with my 95 cx $$$$
car:95 cx
swap:b16a
I swapped cams(compcamstg2), header(vibrant) and a intake/tb(skunk2) onto my car. Car ran fine beforehand. Now when i start the car up, it idles fine and when you go try to rev it or WOT it, it boggs down and will die. There is a certain position you can hold the throttle and it'll rev up fine up to 6500+, no misses etc... No CEL's, Timing is dead on. HELLLLP, i need my **** dyno tuned!!
i swapped out cap, rotor button, and tried another distributor to no avail...
Will drop some cash for solution!!!!!

Re: (Kovatch EG)
Double check ur Hondata, sounds like a problem with that..I would suggest wires/plugs but then you'd probably have breakup under heavy acceleration, not just "dying"

Re: (memphiss13)
it stopped missing after i got to covington pike, then it was back to running real weak, well i tried a number of different things and now it runs worse... it idles but when you try to rev it dies down, i tried putting the stock TB back on it, with no improvement... how much would it cost for me to leave it in your hands?

Sounds to me like your map in the ecu. What i would do is run your stock cams til you get to the dyno and then put your other cams on when you get on the dyno.
But incase if it doesnt work when your back on stock answer these for me.
In idle can you rev your car without any problems or does it die out right away?
What is your BTDC at and where is the hondata one at?
Does it happen when its cold, warm, hot, 2 mins after you start ther car, right when you start the car, etc? When does it start to happen.

Stock cams are gone...
at idle if you blip the throttle or wot it, it bogs down really bad and will die if you dont release it.
Whats BTDC?
Happens ALL the time... cold hot etc...

Re: (Kovatch EG)
BTDC timing. Stands for Bottom Top Dead Center or something ::shrugs:: anyway its what you use a timing gun on. With the cams should have came a instruction paper to say what timing you need. Check that.
I think you messed up putting the TPS on, like its off a little, try resetting the TPS.
Something is really wrong though. Even though you think timing is dead on, do it again. Try to get your hands on some stock cams, just to see whats up.
