need help with motor mounts

Default need help with motor mounts

I have an EG and I'm going to drop a 91 ls engine with cable tranny on it and wanted to know what type of motor mounts do I need?

any advice?

stock integra mounts from a 94 - 01 will work but u will need a cable to hydro trans conversion since your doing it the hard way since the EG uses a hydro tranny

ohh but can I bypass that until later on? or do i need it for the swap?

if your getting a cable tranny ur gonna need it asap or else no clutch

You will need it for the swap as 90Rexx said. The EG uses a Hydro. Clutch. You will have no where to hook your cable off the tranny. So get the Hasport Cable to Hydro conversion. To get around this you could have just gotten a B-Series Hydro tranny from the get go. I assume though that you got the 91 long block & tranny together. I would have looked for a 94-01 setup though.

yeah well this is my first B18 setup so for right now it will be fine....thank you people for the help

it wont be fine, your clutch wont engage.

what do you mean? even if I buy the conversion kit it wont work? Cuz im planning to buy the kit.

no, by how you worded it sounded like you were saying screw the kit for now you were going to run it anyway

sorry didn't mean to sound it that way. Yeah I may buy the kit or just get a hydro tranny...thanks for all the help

Go with a Hydro trans. You wont regret it.
