For the amount of money it will cost in parts and labour to do head work and full bolt-ons on a D-series motor to make 150hp, it woulda been better spent on a B18a/b and start with more cubes/hp/tq already.

If you look around, you can pick up a complete B18a/b swap for your ride for the same price as what it'll cost to build up your d-series.

I would turbocharge the D-series engine you have, with a medium sized turbo and low boost. It's easier than doing a swap IMO, and it's definitely less expensive. Just make sure to get a tune... it shouldn't cost too much because i'd assume the tuner should be able to tune it quickly since it would be on such low boost and only making 150WHP.

If you swap in a B series you're not going to make 150WHP unless you swap something like a GSR (and even then you won't have 150WHP), which would cost more than to turbo it.
