Need help identifying part. Trying to also get rid of it
My car had some serious alignment problems. I got my car from a private owner so there were preexisting problems I didn't know about. We figured out one cause of my alignment problem.
We pulled this off of the rear left hand/driver's side suspension. I forgot what this part was called but the strut attaches to it. The same part on the otherside of my car is different. It didn't have those extra holes and was straight. This one is curved. However, it's still the same length as the stock one.
Notice how this one is curved.
Does anyone know what car this came off of? If you want it, let me know. Sorry, I only have the left side.
Oh yeah, we figured that those additional holes are for some sort of rear tie bar.

That is a lower control arm for a car with a rear sway bar from what you are describing the other side is the standard control arm for a car with no rear sway. Oh and by the way the bend in the control arm (sway bar) is that way from the factory. however that one might have a little to much bend in it

Thanks for the info guys. I thought the bend in it was meant to be like that. However, I got the car from a private party a few years ago and I didn't notice the difference until now.
I'm gonna dump it at a recycling yard if no one claims it. If you or anyone you know wants it, let me know when so you can schedule a pick up.

and just fyi, the "extra holes" are an attatchment for a sway bar: so it had to come from something stock with a sway bar, like a VTEC del Sol or integra gsr.
