Can anyone tell me what Honda D series motor my JRSC was designed for?
The bolt pattern appears to be for a D16Y7, Y8 or SC, but the manifold flange is flat across the top and extended with what appears to be a 2nd gasket imprint above the manifold gasket. I cannot find another picture of one that has this feature. The upper gasket has holes drilled through to the injector holes and there is a casting added with a vacuum fitting at the top, in the center area.

The '96-00 Civic D-series JRSC kits use the same intake manifold... the one you have pictured appears to have been installed on a '99-00 Civic because the newer cylinder head uses the vacuum accumulator rail across the top of the intake ports and merges it to the brass fitting pointing straight up on the top of the intake manifold. If you are using it on a '96-98 D-series cylinder head, simply use the stock type gasket with the manifold and you will be fine. To clean up the install, remove the brass fitting on top and plug the hole.

Can't blame people for not wanting to use it because of the limit of power it will put out. I know what you mean though, I would go Vortec if going that route.

Smoother power curve, and no uncontrollable fuel-cutoff-smacking power spike at high revs from a turbo.

Do you guys ever watch youtube videos of people pushing high boost, large turbos on 1.6s and 1.8s? Huge power spike at high revs. With the same amount of boost/cfm from a supercharger, it would be less violent and more controllable.

You crack me up...you think a supercharger is capable of producing the same amount of psi as a turbocharger? A supercharger on 30+ psi hehe. Your funny
