Need help identifying a dizzy

Default Need help identifying a dizzy

Hey Guys, I was wondering if there was anyway to visually indentify if a dizzy is obd2a or obd2b if so how ?

If its a D-series distributor OBD2A uses one large plug with 9 wires. If its OBD2B it uses one small plug with 8 wires (the blue tach signal wire is the missing wire on OBD2B distributors) If its a B-series they both use the same style large plug but again the OBD2B versions lack the tach signal wire.
