I'm not trying to be a dick but the diagrams that came in the instructions work perfectly, just remember to set it exactly like it says to before starting it or it can screw alot of stuff up. Other than that, as long as you can cut, crimp and solder wires, you're gtg. Pretty simple actually, if you have any questions hit me up.

The instructions have which ecu the diagram represents. It doesn't matter which car it is in, all you have to worry about is what ecu you are running. If you pull it out from behind the carpet, there will be a sticker on it stating which ecu it is. Then all you have to do is find out where to mount it and start putting wires together.

Re: nEed help to hook up the vtec controller (Mr. [e])
i have plenty of experience with electronics, my apexi turbo timer i did even though it was 10 degrees out side, i've wired in countless amounts of stereo systems, mostly for other people, gauges etc..etc..you name it...but what my personal problem is, i do not have the directions for the VAFC, there fore i do not know which wire is which and where each should go.

look in the install guide on the apexi website and find out what each color coming out of the afc is for. then find a pinout for your specific obd computer. the pinout will tell u exactly where on the harness the wire u need to tap into is and what color combo (ex. brown/black). use some quick connects to tap into all the lines except the map sensor.. that signal needs to be intercepted for the afc to work and must be cut. for that it is recommended to do a male and female connector on both sides to allow easy removal . with the pinout and install guide (online since mine was used) it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes for a clean install. also remember to "intialize" all variables/settings if u bought a used one before u fire the car up.. as far as tuning goes don't "tune" it without a wideband o2 unless u really know what u are doing.

Just wondering if anyone here has tried a "buddy club" v-tec controller. I installed one for a customer/friend and it keeps setting a v-tec problem code. When the code sets the engine won't rev past 6500, its like it is being limited by ecm. All connections are soldered and double checked. Any ideas anyone?
