need help finding vtec solenoid!!!!

need help finding vtec solenoid!!!!
Im installing a vtec controller and i need help locating the vtec solenoid. Im not to great w/ wires. Pics or detailed help would be very much appreciated. thanks

you tap into the wire at the ECU, its easier that way.
Search for ECU pinouts in the EG forum to find the correct diagram for your car since you didn't mention it.

The VTEC solenoid is right by your distributor. It's mounted onto the exhaust cam.

it's right by your distributor...on the left side of the cylinder head while your'e facing towards the back of your car.
