Default Need Help And Fast!! GSR/EH Hatch

Ok here's the deal. I have had my car back for a week now and it is running strong, but rich, very rich! I have put about 300 miles on it so far (drove to orlando) and i just got done changing the oil. The weird thing was that the oil had been changed the week previously, but as we changed it we saw a weird coloration like a watery black. The oil itself wasnt black so i thought whats wrong with it. Then it occured to me that the exhaust is leaking into my oil because there is so much fuel that is needing to turn into vapor that not all of it can. When we did the swap we extended th o2 sensor and put clamps on them. Could i have a bad o2 sensor or do we need to weld the wires?! Anyways i need help asap!
-Thanks

well it could be that the o2 isnt properly wired.....double check your wiring, and a wire solder would be ideal

as for running exremely rich, are you SURE that the black substance in your oil is fuel? change the oil one more time and observe oil substance

i would think that if it's your o2, you would be throwing a code 1 or 2, depending on whether you are obd1 or 2, and i'm assuming it's obd1

either way, good luck with it, and try to take care of the problem asap....let us know if you get stuck anywhere and we'll be glad to help

Thanks for the reply........The motor is an obd1 and had a check engine light before we had the o2 sensor on. After we pluged it in the light went off. Since the header we got (usdm gsr) didnt have a o2 sensor bung, we had to get one put on when we had the test pipe made. Should i get a whole new o2 sensor and get it sodered? Also my oil had only about 2 hundred miles on it before we changed it and saw that it had a weird black color? Could it be that the motor is still filtering out the other oil or is there a possiblity that the motor running rich could do this?

Also what i meant about "exhaust" I meant the gasoline getting into the oil.......Is this possible if you are running rich?
