need help on engine wiring harness
My buddy gave me his old engine wiring harness for a d16z6. I just got a d15b Vtec and I got most of the connectors connected. The thing I couldn't figure out was that the wire he had cut before.
Here's a picture of the connectors wire he had cut. One of the connectors are the ones that connect to the top driver side harness.
The wire color is black and yellow.
Anther question was where does this other connector connect to? (I'm guessing somewhere on the engine.) This is also another connectors wire he had cut.
What's this? And where does it connect to?

Looks like the connectors might connect to the shock tower harness. And the black thing is an EVAP sensor, needed for smog.

that >?< is going to vaccuum from the manifold and its called the purge valve.
1hose to vaccuum from the manifold the other to the canister on the firewall.

also those yellow/black wires going into that plug are for the resistor box that (your probably not using) so leave the grey clip in it.don't unplug it.
and for all the trouble your going threw just find a complete and uncut harness and save yourself some headaches. harness rewireing/rebuilding can lead to many troubleshooting/mystery problems down the line unless done correctly.
