Default Need help, electrical issue.

Ok so when I cut my lights on neither the tail lights or guage lights come one. Pulled the fuse, it was blown. Stuck a 30amp in till I could get to the parts store, as soon as I put it in and turned the lights on pop, there it went.

Apparently I have been driving around a few months without knowing this till some guy told me at a red light. I'm sure there is a wire crossed somewhere in there. When do I begin and is there a good was to check/track it down?

If you have installed taillights you could have shorted a wire by letting the wires get caught in the metal...PS What part of florence you live in?

I live in Huntsville now.

I ended up pulling the radio and checking all the wires. Then all the rear wires to the tails/backup lights. Plugged a new fuse in and they worked this time?????
