Icon6 Need help d15b

I recently did a d15b swap with a dx ecu on my 92 civic cx hatch. It ran fine until a couple of days later i started noticing the white smoke. I thinks its runing rich or something. I can also feel the power lost from when i barely swapped it in. I changed the head gasket to hope it would stop smoking but its still bad. I was hoping to get a list on what to check and do first before i do anything else with this motor. Im also running my cx engine harness with fuel injectors off my cx motor. Thanks

Black smoke = fuel; white smoke = coolant

Was the head milled flat prior to installing the new head gasket?

Sounds like you need to redo the head gasket job correctly. Replacing the head bolts and tightening them with a torque wrench as described in the service manual are also important.
