need help converting fuel filter into inline fuel filer on my EK

need help converting fuel filter into inline fuel filer on my EK
ok after researching for few hours, it answered most of my question. But i still have 2 more question.
1. i have an EK and the fuel filter line comes from the driver side. With my inline fuel filter can i connect it to the driver side of the fuel rail or do i have to route it all the way to the passenger side to mount it back on the passenger side of the fuel rail.
2. What is the best inline fuel filter to use. i keep hearing to use 10 micron but what brand are you guys using. I am pushing around 500whp on my car.
