Default Need help from a civic techy

I used to have a 98 Si (Canadian Model). I stripped off my mods b4 trading it in for my Type R. Now a guy wants to buy my GReddy exhaust. The problem is that he owns a 95 Si (also CDM). My question is...will the exhaust fit (from CAT back) or can it be slightly modified to fit or should I just try and find someone with a 96-00 Civic instead.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah, it should fit, according to DC Sports....92-98 2/4 door civics have the same part # for cat back exhaust systems.

mm...the wheel base is a different lengh between the two cars. I am pretty sure it will *not* fit. It will have to be modified.

If you look at the exhaust...you will notice that the tip from the muffler is much longer on the coupe then on a hatch.

2/4 door civics can share the same exhaust, but the hatchback needs a diff't one, although the midpipe(Bpipe?) I heard is the same, just axle back is diff't.

normally I would agree with you, but manufacturers would have a differant part # if the product was a differant specification, no?

if both cars are coupes, it will fit with no modification. i dont know about the 4 doors. and also, the b-pipe from a coupe si will fit a civic hatch equiped with a cat after the header. so for those who have motor swaps, you can run coupe piping. i used usdm stock 2000 si piping with my stock dx muff and it bolted up perfectly.

the problem would be whether its a 95Si coupe (since you're canadian) or if you guys had a 95 Si hatch as well... if its a coupe it will fit... if its a hatch it won't...
