need help! cf vis trunk/latch 99 civic si...anyone ever swaped trunks? please help
need help i was putting my trunk on today...first i took the harness and latch out...but when putting the new trunk on and the harness and everything back i came across this problem...the little metal pole that conects from the latch to the cylinder key thing...i cant find a way to get it back to how it was =[ its number 11 on the picture
found threads about it but they are from 2005 or so...and dont have answers..

ended up not putting that little pole and the key cylinder on
and turns out the latch on the car needs to sit higher for the trunk to close
