Yea the title says it all.
my story is that there is this guy selling a 1992 CX. He claims the car has 160,000 miles on the chasis and has dropped in a JDM D15b into it. The price of the car is pretty fair. he doesnt have any pictures of the car, and he says that the body super straight and clean. My question to my fellow h-t members is how do i know if he is for real about the engine and if he is really telling the truth, is there any symptoms easily noticed about a car with a JDM swap?i will probably have more questions but i cant think of anything else. thanks ahead of time.

all i can say is drive the car and then come to the conclusion if you think he is telling the truth and he has some paperwork then cool, it's a judgement call that you have to make

well like how can i trust that the engine has 50,000 on if the odometer reads 160,000. i mean its a honda so it should be running just it always should the moment it comes of the lot....well not really but it should be running good

take a look at the car first. dont ever buy untill you see it. not even pics dude its a car something of great investment ya know take you time, get the better deal if its not that good.
