need help badly
car is a 2000 civic ex with an obd1 b16 swap. car ran great forever. then the car got driven through a deep deep puddle and water sucked up the cold air intake. I replaced the long block then it wont start. then i checked for compression, fuel and spark. its got all but fuel seems weird, like a solvent almost. i clean out the whole fuel system, then nothing, it still doesnt start. so i went in the next day tried to start it, and it started right up, it ran for about 5 minutes then just slowly died. wouldnt start back up. there was a burnt prong in the ecu, changed it out for a p06. it started right up for 5 minutes then died. ecu not burnt. then i noticed the fuel pump wasnt turning on, so i changed that. still wont run. i think the water might have damaged the harness or maybe its real simple. the car wont stay running and the fuel pump wont keep pumping. any ideas?
