ok,lets get this rolling.my son was replacing the thermostat when he he touch the extension of the ratchet with the starter.on top of that,he failed to disconnect the battery(you know what comes next).the **** started sparking and he jumped and left the extension still touching.all of a sudden i see smoke coming from under the dash.he fried the starter and i replaced it.now the car wont turn over.all the starter does is click.i removed the starter and juiced it directly and it worked fine.im lost here....need some help fast!!!!!!!!

Check whether the 80A hood fuse is blown. Also check the other large amp fuses under the hood.

i forgot to mention that i hear a hissing sound coming like from the injectors.

problem solved.darn it!!!!! from now on i will do things myself.fudge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
